For over forty years I searched for the key to creative abundance. I never doubted my own creativity. But I lacked a framework to explain what I had long embodied.

This book is that framework.

Human Design gave it to me: part spiritual, part mystical, part mechanical, and thoroughly practical. It shows how creativity flows through your own configuration, the way an engine runs differently depending on how it is built. Since 1992 I have made Leporellos every day, folding books that hold time, pattern, and the creative process. More than 600 now exist. At some point I realized that this practice had been living the principles of Human Design long before I knew the system at all.

This book brings Human Design together with neuroscience and works its way through Type, Strategy, and Inner Authority. You will understand why certain situations always drained you, and why others, the ones you may have given too little attention, are exactly what your system was built for. Research at Drexel University and in network neuroscience confirms what Human Design has taught for decades: your brain is wired for its own creative process. Working against that wiring costs everything. Working with it changes everything.

The basic formula is simple: Creating = Collecting + Connecting. How you take in raw material and connect it into your own expression is coded into your design.
